Matt is a seasoned artist and producer with 30 years of experience in video production and motion graphics. A pioneer in interactive media at Spot Interactive in the early ’90s, he is Creative Director of Johnny Animation Inc., delivering high-impact motion graphics and video content for clients like 20th Century Fox, Brown University, The Discovery Channel, Cardi's Furniture & Mattresses, Blount Fine Foods, and Sharp Electronics.
An award-winning filmmaker, Matt has been recognized in the Providence 48 Hour Film Project competition. He recently served as Executive Story Producer for the Meeting Street Telethon, producing over 50 story segments, and contributed over 20 minutes of motion graphics and animation to the documentary Blood & Watershed. His live production work includes animation and theatrical projections for Alice in Wonderland (Turning Pointe Dance Studio) and productions of All My Sons, Scrooge, and the upcoming Anastasia at Fall River Little Theatre.
Active in the industry, Matt serves on the Executive Committee for the RI Radio & Television Hall of Fame and is a member of the National Association of Broadcasters and the Massachusetts Mac Users Group. He has been featured in Moviemaker Magazine.
As an Associate Professor at New England Institute of Technology, Matt teaches courses in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Corporate Media, Lighting, and Digital Cinematography. He also leads corporate training workshops at the prestigious Maine Media Workshops in Camden, Maine.
